The Domo del Desierto was a real gem. My room had a terrace, so I could stare at the stars at night and watch the volcanoes during the day, plus the sunsets were amazing. Felipe was a great host, the place had everything for a self‑catering stay, a small gas heater kept the nights cozy, and his cat kept me company.

The domes were super comfy and the whole spot feels safe and beautiful, you can see the stars from the terrace and the mountain range at sunset. Covered parking helped keep the intense sun at bay. All in all, a perfect place to unwind.

The host was friendly and the dome itself is a unique piece of architecture, but we hit two storms that flooded the dome, letting water seep through doors and windows, plus a broken window and a lot of dust. The location was nice, but the weather really put a damper on the stay.

The owner was super helpful, sending us a list of all the nearby sites with useful info and even taking us late to the Uyuni salt flat to pick up what we forgot. The parking for our rented 4x4 was secure, the kitchen was well equipped, and we loved stargazing from the terrace. No issues at all.
