The hotel matched the photos, with a large parking area inside the compound. It’s close to the Girivalam route, but you’ll need an auto or a drive to the Valampuri Vinayagar temple at the 3‑way junction, about a five minute drive, to start the girivalam/pradashina of Arunachala Hill. Staff, especially Manikandan, were very helpful and pleasant, offering useful tips for Darshan at the temple and for walking around the hill.

The South Indian breakfast was great, though it would be better if they provided a squeegee for the bathroom since the water doesn’t drain until you push it around.
