We arrived late at night and woke up to a lovely view of the garden; the decor throughout the complex is pretty. The on‑site restaurant is nice and the food tastes good. The staff are friendly. It feels like the hotel is just an add‑on to the restaurant for anyone who wants to stay. The room was next to the staff locker room and utility spaces, so from early morning there was a constant hum and washing machine noise. The shower drain worked poorly and the bathroom supplies were limited to a big bottle labeled “shampoo.” The breakfast had the biggest impact on my score; unfortunately it wasn’t the breakfast I’d read about. It was sparse, the coffee was instant, and the hot water was brought in pitchers and by the time tea brewed it was already cold.
