The place is very beautiful and superbly located. The room was very comfortable. During the heatwave, the lack of air conditioning might be an issue, but for us at 25° it was perfect. The breakfast was very good. Nothing else.

A great option to explore Avila, because you’re dropped right in the city center as soon as you wake up, you can enjoy a nice breakfast at the host’s palace between the walls, see knights, and not worry about your stomach until dinner. A parking lot is just a minute away; toss 1 € into the green zone machine each day and you’ll return to your room with a canopy bed, a refrigerator, and a balcony overlooking a medieval street. The only downside was hearing what happened in the next room through a very thin wall while trying to sleep.
