I’m right in Chiang Mai’s old town, within walking distance of every temple and the old town gate, and the café girl is a sweetheart, always smiling.

I loved the hostel – the staff were genuinely friendly and the tiny café below was lovely, plus the spot is great.

It felt like home, but the mattress was extremely hard, as were all the others, and with only one person in the hostel no matter how well‑meaning they couldn’t keep up with everyone.
