“A fairytale hotel that made our Cappadocia experience unforgettable!”

We spent our holiday at Kistar Cave Hotel in Uçhisar and left very satisfied. The hotel sits in a fantastic spot, within walking distance of Uçhisar Castle and the regional center, and the view and surroundings were magnificent. The cave rooms felt textured, clean, and comfortable; traditional architecture is well preserved and the beds were very cozy. The management and every staff member were exceptionally caring, friendly, and helpful, making us feel at home from check‑in to check‑out and supporting us with tour planning. Every morning the breakfast was fresh and full of local delicacies, a wonderful way to start the day. If we ever return to Cappadocia, this will definitely be our first choice again. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a great stay!

Kistar Cave Hotel is a place that truly sticks in your memory. The owner is a very kind, open, and hospitable person; from the first moment you sense his genuine desire to make guests as comfortable as possible. He is always nearby, ready to help, and loves to share interesting stories. The hotel itself feels very atmospheric, with many old items and details that give a special sense—like touching the history of Cappadocia. Every detail has its own mood, and it’s interesting just to wander through and look at everything. The cozy ambience, unusual atmosphere, and, of course, the beautiful views were all very appealing, but the warm human touch of the owner stood out the most. Thank you for the hospitality and wonderful impressions! If we return to Cappadocia, we will definitely stay here again. I wholeheartedly recommend Kistar Cave Hotel!

“Out of this world”

The location was great, in the quieter part of Uchisar, overlooking Pigeon Valley, so we could watch the hot air balloons early in the morning. Breakfast was exceptional, catering to all tastes. Hamida was fantastic—friendly and ready to help in any way. We loved the amazing decorations from the past, which enhanced the interesting cave hotel design. The delightful owner, Mr Mehmet, is obviously passionate about the place. No issues at all.

Its location was excellent and the view was amazing. I really liked how the hotel staff catered to all our needs; they helped us book tours and gave us all the correct guidance. To top it all, the breakfast had good variety and was delicious. Nothing negative.
