We waited outside for about 40 minutes to check in, then a neighbour handed us the key with little explanation; the common area was hot, no fan and no AC remote; the bed was fine but the bathroom hygiene was lacking; I texted the host for the wifi password and only got it after checking out the next day.

The location and facilities are worth the price I paid, and the staff are helpful, but it’s a bit far for walking distance.

The owner is on the property most of the time and you can check with him for any requests; there are cooking facilities for reheating food, but the cleanliness of the hostel definitely needs improvement.
