“Wonderful and we can’t wait to come back!”

We had the pleasure of staying in a charming historic captain's house, perfectly situated in the heart of a picturesque and historic town. The location was just lovely, and the owners did a great job in preserving the property's historic charm. However, upon closer inspection, we noticed a few minor details that were left undone in our room, which initially seemed like a bit of a letdown, but ultimately didn't detract from our overall experience.

I was thoroughly disappointed with this hotel, as the reality was a far cry from what was promised in the marketing materials. The moment we stepped foot on the property and into our room, we knew we had to leave immediately - the whole place was in disrepair. This unfortunate discovery forced us to reorganize our entire vacation, which was a significant inconvenience.

“Good but we were expecting something different with our room”

We were drawn to this beautiful old home, expecting to experience the charm and character that comes with staying in a historic property. Unfortunately, our room was actually an add-on to the main house, and it lacked the character we were looking for. Considering the price we paid, we felt it was overpriced for a renovated add-on that didn't quite live up to our expectations.
