The breakfast was fantastic! Sharing a toilet outside the room was less pleasant.
“An excellent overnight stop”
The location was excellent, just a short walk to the historic village centre. The host was very welcoming and directed us to a great restaurant for dinner. The room was pleasant, comfortable, and very peaceful. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide range of excellent food and good coffee. The only downside was that the toilet was not en‑suite.

The host had excellent contact and explained the house rules clearly, handing over keys in a way that let us come and go freely; he also gave us tourist tips and left several brochures in the room. On arrival he even called nearby restaurants to check if they were open. We could lock our bikes and store them in the garage. Breakfast was hearty, varied, and some items were homemade. The welcoming vibe was obvious, and we really appreciated all the service. We definitely recommend it. Nothing else to add.
