The location was stunning in a beautiful wooded park with old apple trees beside the lake, rooms were freshly renovated with taste, dinner was excellent, breakfast offered everything and more, all served in the main building, there’s also a bar on the upper floor where you can sip a drink and chat in lined-up lounges amid a magnificent historic setting, staff were very friendly.

The spot was great and breakfast was tasty. We booked a garden‑side room but the view was a construction pit. On the first morning from 06:50 there was a lot of noise, trucks loading stones and other building work; on the second morning only from 06:50 to 07:15. We mentioned this to reception and received a discount. Unfortunately the swimming ladder was not usable.

Breakfast was good, the manor had a genuine atmosphere. The hotel is expanding, causing noise from excavators and the like.

The sauna area by the lake was very nice, the park has treasure‑hunt signs to entertain adults and kids, the main building (very nice) houses the reception, several small rooms used for breakfast and also for the restaurant (though dinner itself is not remarkable), meeting rooms and relaxation areas. Our room, located in a nearby structure, was small but welcoming.
