The location lets you feel the waves at your feet, a soothing sound, but the room’s old Deco style was disappointing: the floating parquet was lifting and the boards were separated, the bay window wouldn’t open fully because the lintel was cracked and sagging, the paint on the bathroom tiles was flaking, and the price was too high for what was offered.
