We got a very warm welcome from both Natalie and Phillipe when we stayed at their home in Hugegloat; we spent two nights in the large top‑floor bedroom and enjoyed homemade pancakes and crepes for breakfast. Our French is hopeless, but both Natalie and Phillipe were very helpful. A lovely stay in a traditional French home – thank you!

The spot is right in the heart of Huelgoat, and the room feels cozy and comfy. Breakfast was amazing, featuring local specialties, and the hosts and their animals were super friendly 🙂

Good spot. The hosts were very chatty. Breakfast was excellent, and the host even made gluten‑free pancakes just for me. Nothing to complain about.

The hosts were very welcoming, and the breakfast was lovely with explanations about where everything came from. The bed was very comfortable, and I actually liked that there was no TV in the room. They left some tasty local biscuits for us, and there are beautiful walks nearby to see geological features and a lake in the middle of town with grebes and other birds. Finding dinner spots in town in early September was a bit harder than I expected.
