From the moment we arrived, the welcome was excellent; every staff member was friendly and helpful. Breakfast stood out because it was generous and had that “grandma‑style” taste, full of love and care in every dish. The room was spotless and the linens smelled fresh. When I forgot an important item in the room, I texted the hostel’s WhatsApp and the issue was resolved quickly, allowing me to finish my pre‑wedding shoot successfully. Outside the hostel, there’s a peaceful square with plenty of playgrounds for kids. Undoubtedly, we’ll stay at Orquídeas de Maria again.

Breakfast is excellent, and all the staff are helpful and very polite. The location is nice; you can walk to the Basilica and the city of Romeno. The atmosphere feels family‑friendly and calm. I loved having a mini‑fridge, it was very useful. I wish they added shampoo and towel holders in the bathroom.

I really liked the service from Mrs. Dona; she is a charming person. I didn’t like the location—it felt far from the Basilica, and the water dispenser sometimes ran out of water for everyone.

I was warmly welcomed, from the reception to the cleanliness; everything was perfect. I’ll return and recommend it to everyone. Thank you especially to Joyce, who was very accommodating. She is wonderful. The only downside was the service and breakfast.
