The room was great and the building really caught my eye. The location isn’t ideal, but we managed.

Breakfast was very good, but adding a small gym would make it complete.

The staff and owner were friendly, the house had a stylish feel, and the pool was suitable for swimming. The proximity to the highway is fine, but at night you hear nothing from it.

The B & B’s location is great, but I wasn’t told how small the room I booked was. Paying R1200 for a tiny room feels ludicrous; I was told it’s normally used for tour‑group drivers, so it shouldn’t be listed as a single bedroom. There was no air‑con or fan in my room.
