The location is very strategic for all major spots, just a few kilometres from the center. Robert and Ruth attended to every tiny detail, from daily room cleaning to the diverse and plentiful breakfasts they prepared each morning. If I ever return to Malta, I’ll definitely stay here again.

Robert is the best host in the world; this place is run with passion. Every day the breakfast changes, and he also makes omelets and scrambled eggs on request. I’d only deduct a hundredth of a percent for the slightly dry and tight scrambled eggs, but some might like that. Every morning there’s also a surprise on the bed – champagne, cookies, just as we’d come back from the beach famished.

This property should be 100/10. The host is wonderful, the place is clean, the breakfasts are delicious, and the way they’re served and explained is unparalleled. The care for guests is exceptional. Everything is fine, especially the host’s courtesy.

Escape to St Julian exceeded my expectations. That’s why the 9.9 score on Booking makes sense: Robert treats you like you’re in a five‑star luxury hotel. The breakfast is super abundant and always different, with Robert waiting each morning to explain what he’s prepared. He does everything himself – from famous Maltese pastizzi to fresh fruit salad, scrambled or fried eggs. Never seen such service! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Malta just outside the bustle of St Julian, look no further than ESCAPE TO ST JULIAN.
