The spot is perfect for the Timber Trail bike ride, staying the night before and after; it’s literally just up the hill from the shuttle base, a quiet place with great mountain and farmland views, though the bathroom exhaust fan is a bit noisy, which is the only fault.

The studio feels remote yet close to the main road, giving a true NZ back‑road vibe with paddocks and bush, and it’s almost new, insulated, air‑conditioned, with an amazing bathroom and kitchenette, with nothing to note.

Exceeded expectations! They really paid attention to little details that made the place feel cozy and nice. The views were beautiful. If you're looking for a weekend getaway for a good price compared to some others around this was perfect. It didn't really impact us, but we did ask a few questions that weren't answered by the host. There was a shop about 15 min drive if you needed anything though so again it was okay
