How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
A large ceiling fan kept the room cool. Getting a cab was extremely hard, even from the train, and there were no good alternative transport options. The shower was poorly designed. Breakfast could have been better and more plentiful; no extra food was served after other guests had taken what they wanted, even though we were about 40 minutes into breakfast time, leaving us with limited choices. The neighbors were noisy.

I stayed in the lower part of the old town, so every climb to the center felt like a hill, but there are nearby bus lines outside the old gate that give a bit of a fright. The hostel itself has been renovated, clean and modern. The room was small, cute and functional, with a very tiny bathroom. I could use the fridge in the dining area. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was decent. However, I paid for a balcony room as advertised, yet there was no balcony—just a window overlooking a somewhat chaotic courtyard. There was no air conditioning, only a ceiling fan that wasn’t very effective.

The location was good, but the beds were very uncomfortable, the towels felt like cigarette paper, the breakfast was disappointing, and the staff were quite awful.
