The location is lovely with a nice sea view and panoramic outlook, and the rooms were clean. The breakfast could have been better. Parking costs 10 euros, while it’s only 5 euros if you go directly, which is odd.

Located on Otranto's seafront, Hotel Profumo Di Mare features air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and minibars. Guest rooms have cool tiled floors, fully equipped bathrooms, and some offer furnished sea view balconies. The hotel serves traditional Italian cuisine with local wines at its restaurant, and offers a sweet Italian-style breakfast. Otranto's historic centre, castle, and cathedral are within a 5-minute walk.

The location definitely earns the top score. The place offers excellent value for money and the breakfast is super complete. We booked a deal expecting a sea view, but the room faced the inner courtyard; a sea view would have been worth it, though it wasn’t available.

The hotel sits in a great spot and if you get a room facing the sea you’ll enjoy a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Having breakfast at the hotel was nice—a buffet‑style continental spread with excellent espresso and cappuccino. The decor feels a bit dated, but the shower and bed were great. Truly the best location!

Excellent central location, friendly staff, a spacious room with a balcony, and good food at the on‑site restaurant.

Nice location, friendly staff, and it’s easy to store luggage. The hotel feels old‑school with slightly rundown facilities.
