Wow, just wow. The staff were amazing, the welcome warm, the place spotless and beautifully designed, right on the water and only a few minutes’ walk from the village. They handled everything we asked for and were there all day. Their chef is the best in Madagascar, cooking delicious dinners and even made a special vegan gluten‑free menu for me after I let him know beforehand. I’d definitely recommend this spot.

The accommodation exceeded all our expectations. The lodge sits in a beautiful, quiet cove right under the rainforest, just a 5‑minute walk from a small village. Local lemurs visited us every day, which we were delighted by. Breakfast and dinner at the Hazotzara restaurant were experiences in themselves. Owner Tony and his head chef craft a different menu each day based on the availability of local, fresh ingredients, always creating a perfect dish. Every evening was a culinary delight. Thanks to Dženiska for all her willingness, kindness, and help; she knew what we needed and was very helpful, whether arranging technical matters or rescuing our burnt feet :))). Thanks for the experience. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The location is close to the village but a bit off‑the‑beaten‑path to enjoy a nearly private beach. Evening menus are good and original, tailored to daily availability. Breakfast is excellent with local products. Very calm, even for a room facing the terrace. A beautiful terrace for eating and drinks. Hot water is absent; only very cold water is available. Dinner requires a mandatory 3‑course menu, and if you skip dessert you’re still charged for it. Prices are a bit high for the portion sizes. The room near the terrace feels a bit stuffy. If you pay in euros, the exchange rate is 4500 Ar, far below the general rate used in Nosy Be.
