The spot was great, but the view didn’t match the photos, the room was tiny and the breakfast was awful.

The location was fantastic and the huge shared terrace was very comfortable, plus we had access to a fully equipped shared kitchen. The “provided” parking was on the street outside the ZTL and required a short three‑minute walk; we were lucky that mid‑September we found a spot without much trouble.

The room was nice, close to the city centre and the sea, but the ventilation made a metallic whine whenever someone in the building turned it on. Neighbours kept building and making noise late at night, and there was a big hole in the vent opening between the room and the bathroom. The room was very cold at night. Breakfast was held at another address that couldn’t be found on the map.

The room and bathroom were too small. The terrace shown in the photos is not attached to the apartment; it’s a shared roof terrace. We had drinks stolen from the fridge on that terrace… The bed was too hard (probably old). Overall it wasn’t great.

The front‑desk staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly; the accommodation felt like a 1950s apartment but that wasn’t their fault. It needed a full refit, had no hot water, the boiler was past its prime and didn’t work, the air‑con never turned on, and everything was badly dated.
