The old building was very well maintained with respect for the cultural history of the place. Great location in a quiet and peaceful setting. The breakfast was outstanding, with high‑quality ingredients. A good room with tasteful décor and good beds. The bistro served wonderful food and the staff were sweet and welcoming. We missed an opportunity to see larger parts of the castle, perhaps a self‑guided or guided tour. Maybe we overlooked something, but if so, it wasn’t advertised.
