“非常棒”
I think this hotel is really good, nothing to complain about.
The spot is great, the room is spacious, clean, and the beds are comfy. The only snag is that the entrance is at the back of the building and it’s unclear how to get in or which floor the hostel sits on.
“Room ok but not the hotel I booked”
I was honestly surprised by how good the reviews sounded. When I finally got a room, it was decent even though it wasn’t the hotel I booked. It had ambient lighting, a big enough shower, a fridge, and you could buy snacks and drinks. The room had a kettle and there was a communal area where you could heat things up. The hotel is just a 5‑minute walk from the Central State Museum. I arrived late at night to find the Good Inn Hostel actually closed. There was junk outside the entrance and the metal door led to what looked like an abandoned warehouse. I couldn’t find another place in time, so I called the host. After a while she told me the hostel had moved because the old one had no hot water. About 30 minutes later she and another lady took me to a different hotel called Salem. That hotel only accepted cash, which was a hassle since I only had dollars and a card. (Some Uzbek hotels accept cash dollars, but this one didn’t). The Salem manager let me pay the next day, but the next morning he knocked on my door to demand the money. I managed to get it and everything was sorted. Talking to the staff was hard—they spoke almost no English, except for the lady who came to collect me. The room I ended up with was okay, but the reason I booked the Good Inn was because it supposedly had a semi‑social vibe. Salem is just a standard, non‑social hotel. Laundry costs a lot. Make sure to ask the host for the exact address before you arrive so you don’t wander around dark buildings at night like I did.
“cool”
This place is pretty nice, no issues.
The location works, the staff are friendly, but they weren’t at the desk when I checked in, the bed wasn’t set up yet, and both the doors and the toilets had some problems that weren’t working properly.
