“Estadia maravilhosa em Squinzano!”
Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the hosts were super welcoming. I loved staying at Mr. Antônio’s house with Anna and Vitor. Everything was excellent.

I had trouble finding restaurants in Squinzano during September.

The staff were incredibly kind and genuinely heart‑felt people; I’ll remember them fondly and hope to return.

This isn’t my first time staying here; whenever we’re in Squinzano we book. The rooms are superb, the property is wonderful, and the owners are fantastic.

The low rating is only for the owner, as I never actually entered the place. I was arriving by ferry (GNV Durres‑Bari), which was scheduled to reach Bari at 21.45h. When I booked in June I asked if that would be an issue and was told everything was fine. The ferry’s engine failed, so we reached Bari at 01.30h, about four hours late. I knew we should have arrived at 21h, so I texted the property, “I’m late, but I will arrive.” Later that night, around 03h, I arrived in Squinzano, sent a WhatsApp message, and called with no answer. Checking my booking messages, I saw that my reservation had been cancelled! I messaged the owner again, politely asking him to come in the morning as soon as possible because I was parked in front of the gate hoping to enter. He showed up around 6a.m., and he was so unpleasant, unfriendly, inhuman, and looked at me with extreme anger and hatred. I understand my lateness, but I still don’t get why he wouldn’t let me in that morning, or why he behaved with such hate. People like him shouldn’t work with others, especially not in tourism. I was left in a bad situation, alone, tired, and nervous at six in the morning, with no place to stay or solution for my stay in Puglia. It wasn’t my fault that I arrived late. P.S. I’m a woman traveling alone.
