The service was amazing, and the room was great. I didn't like that the shower was in the room and there was no curtain; it felt awkward because I had to stay in the bathroom while my friend showered, but if you're alone it's fine.

Great location. The rooms are beautifully decorated, though not always practical. The breakfast could definitely be more varied in Costa Rica.

The rooms were clean and exceptional. The hotel was secured by a gate, which gave a good sense of safety. The interior was very pleasant thanks to palm trees and plants. The staff were very nice and helpful. The noise level in the area isn’t ideal for someone who sleeps lightly.

Everything was dirty, and for a hotel in Escalante the facilities are nowhere near worth the price. No relevant renovations for this type of hotel. Even though they try to respect the structure, there are many repairs that could be done. The window glass is broken. The floors creak. Everything is noisy. The bathroom doors don’t close. The repairs are badly done and the place looks ugly and unclean. The breakfast is almost nothing. And some guests next to us were infested with bed bugs and they bit everyone at night.
