The location was exceptional. I wasn’t expecting such an old cottage, so the downstairs room was very dark. The facilities were excellent and had everything we needed. The bed and sofa were a bit uncomfortable from heavy use, so I didn’t sleep great. The doorways were low, and my husband, who is 6 ft tall, had to duck a lot. We could have walked to the end of the shared garden to sit outside, but it would have been better to have direct access to a bit of garden for morning breakfast or coffee. Still, we had a lovely break and would definitely book again.

Wonderful location, beautiful cottage, very comfortable. Nothing to complain about!

The location is fantastic, and the small garden leads to the river. It would have been nice to have proper cooking facilities, like a hotplate and some pans, though I understand space is limited. The shower was tricky and often went cold.

This is a quaint cottage with stairs to the bedroom, which we liked but may not suit other guests. We enjoyed the comfortable sitting area with fridge, microwave, toaster, and TV, and we liked sitting by the river and the tranquility. Nothing else.
