I had a very comfortable stay at Arctic City Hotel, thanks to its great location right in the centre of Rovaniemi and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops; parking was also available, which was handy because I was driving. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent with a very good selection. I liked the hotel’s atmosphere and how easy it was to explore the city on foot, making it a very good choice in Rovaniemi that I would happily return to.

The room was comfortable with a view of the fjord and the municipal pool from the 5th floor, and it was fairly spacious. The hotel lounge was cozy; we dined there because the restaurant was full. Breakfast was decent. The hotel is 8 minutes on foot from the centre, downhill. A kettle was missing and we could hear a bit of traffic.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty, but the first thing we noticed when we walked into the hotel was a strong fishy odor that lingered in the air.
