The breakfast staff was very friendly, helpful, and personable. The food was pre‑cooked, piled with bacon that didn’t look appealing, but I understood the cost constraints. In the late and early hours of the morning there was constant banging—could have been a door swinging closed—and I only mention it because you asked.

The hotel was spotless and within walking distance to the town. We had to wait a long time for a room for the two of us.

Good location, gorgeous interiors downstairs. Room was very dated, room 217 directly beside the lift so heard not only the doors banging but the lifts moving up and down between floors. Mattress quite hard
