“An unforgettable stay at Ifuru Island Maldives!”

I can’t say enough about our time at Ifuru Island Maldives – it was truly unforgettable. From the instant we landed until the last day, the whole team made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Yadeesh and Sandesh delivered outstanding hospitality and exceptional service in the restaurant, and the food was excellent, especially the desserts; they always went the extra mile to make each meal a delight. Ali from housekeeping kept our villa spotless every day, Patrick was kind and attentive by the pool – always opening our umbrella and bringing drinks with a smile – and Smiles greeted us warmly and handled arrival and departure professionally. The complimentary access to the Business Lounge on our departure day, when our flight was in the evening, was a thoughtful touch that capped off a wonderful holiday. Thank you to the entire Ifuru Island team for creating such beautiful memories; we highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to return. The only minor downside was that the ocean was quite windy during our stay, there were many small jellyfish, and the seabed was rocky, so we had to wear water shoes – but this did not take away from our overall experience.

“Настоящий волшебный Мальдивский отдых”

At the Malé airport, a hotel representative met us, handled registration, and assigned our room. After the flight to Ifuru Island, drummers and manager Damir greeted us. The hotel upgraded our room to a villa with a pool for free, and luggage was delivered straight to the room. The villa was spacious and well-equipped: air‑conditioning, fans, a terrace with furniture, a private pool, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, a iron and ironing board. The bathroom had two showers – one enclosed and one open to the sky. The room had sockets for a standard European plug, suitable for Russian appliances, and also type G sockets (for UK appliances); the desk with the mirror only had a type G socket, so an adapter is needed. The beach had classic white sand and a coral reef mixed with a sandy bottom; the corals were alive, colorful, and there were many colorful fish. After lunch, a turtle swam by (we saw it near the corals opposite the beach exit at villa No. 403). Tides existed, but during low tide the water never fully disappeared; at maximum low tide the level was just above the knee, which lasts only an hour a day. At other times the water was at chest level or higher (for a person 175 cm tall). The water was very clear, transparent, and warm, with almost no wind and no waves; occasionally a pleasant breeze blew. The menu offered a variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including Maldivian, Japanese, and European cuisine, plenty of meat, fish, sides, desserts, and fruits such as melons, watermelons, and pineapples. The island has its own airport, several restaurants, a pool, a tennis court, a shop, and a kids’ aqua park; live music plays in the evening. The premises are kept clean. Manager Damir created a WhatsApp chat for guests, kept us informed about events, and when we checked out he extended our stay free of charge until 14:30 and arranged airport transfer. Service quality was high. We would have liked a few more fresh‑squeezed juice options at breakfast and lunch, and regular preventive cleaning of the room air‑conditioner is needed.

The staff’s friendliness and availability, the magnificent room with its pool and towel decorations, and the signature restaurants were all excellent. The buffet quality was far below what one would expect from such an establishment. A shuttle to the other side of the island (we had to walk 1 km to reach the Waterfront) would be desirable. The way beach chairs are claimed with towel deposits in the morning is unbearable; in other venues a staff member routinely checks and removes these towels when guests are not present or in the pool. Apply this very good idea for the benefit of your clients.

We had a pretty good stay in our beach bungalow, which was spacious with a big bed and nice linens, and the private pool was a great touch. The location was awesome, just a 10-minute walk to the center and restaurants, and we loved the privacy on the beach. The staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, and the house reef was amazing for snorkeling.
