“It was pleasant but not good.”
I liked the view from the balcony and how spacious the room was, but the food was deplorable; the chef clearly doesn't know how to make even a cup of tea properly.

We spent three days at Treebo Anjukul and it was truly rejuvenating; the property sits amid nature, offering breathtaking views and a calm vibe that lets you disconnect from city chaos. The food was fresh, wholesome, and comforting with a distinct homely touch. The rooms and amenities were well‑maintained and comfortable, complementing the rustic charm. What really stood out was the warm hospitality—staff were courteous, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Anjukul isn’t about luxury; it’s about simplicity, peace, and a connection with nature, so I highly recommend it for a mindful getaway. The hotel sits about 7 km from Dalhousie centre, has parking space, and a common sit‑out on the 3rd floor that offers breathtaking views of the hills and valley. The dining area is glass‑covered on all sides, giving a pleasant view. Food quality was nice and the staff were extremely cooperative. You can drive down 2 km to a village with cafeterias, a bakery, and grocery shops. Overall, the stay was great. The nearest market and village are 2 km downhill, which takes a lot of effort to walk, though it’s only a few minutes by car.

The hotel had a great location, but the hot water boiler was a major issue. It took a while to get hot water, and sometimes it just didn't work. Despite this, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the boiler problem was a bit of a letdown.

I was really impressed with the staff at this hotel - they were super cooperative and humble. They went out of their way to help me with everything I needed, and made me feel right at home. The hotel itself was nice, but I didn't have any major complaints.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely fantastic - they were professional, helpful, and always approachable. Having local staff added a really nice touch to the service, and made me feel like I was getting a genuine, authentic experience. The hotel itself was neat and clean, but there were a few minor issues - one of the curtains in my room had a stain, and there were no tissue papers in the room.
