We liked the very warm welcome, the breakfast, and Rosalie; the bikes are stored safely. The bedding was too soft for us, and the wild boar head was divisive among guests, with mixed reviews.

I liked the location and the breakfast was decent, but when I showed Gilbert the contract that clearly said Family Room, with a double bed and a sofa bed, he insisted we could only use the double bed even though we were two men who were not partners and had paid for two beds. It was 8 pm, we had nowhere else to go, so we handed him 30 Euro cash on top of the 128 Euro we’d already paid. He then spent five minutes stopping us from unpacking and scolded us in French even though we don’t speak French. The next day, when I was packing my bike to leave, he deliberately waited for me and spent ten minutes insisting he was right, even after showing him the contract.
