The room was a playful maze of sweets decorations and donut‑shaped cushions piled everywhere, which made the stay a lot of fun. The location felt a bit inconvenient, but that seemed unavoidable given the setting.

The theming was adorable and the area was great. The place was very dirty and they didn’t hand out a room key.

The design was all about candy motifs. In the bathroom I found several strands of hair from a previous guest, the mirror tablet and bath monitor were hard to use, and the available viewing content was inconvenient.

Getting there from the station was easy and the amenities were plentiful; they even provided pajamas. The bath and toilet were clean and easy to use, and the staff handled phone requests smoothly. However, the room was advertised as non‑smoking but the smell of cigarettes was strong, permeating the futon and toilet paper. The bedscarf had stains, the floor had trash, and the door squeaked loudly when opened or closed. I was hoping for a more comfortable stay at 14,900 yen per night for a deluxe room, so it felt a little disappointing.

I liked the Japanese culture. Nothing else.
