Breakfast was excellent, and the evening meal at the pub was also very good with drinks priced very reasonably. The accommodation and pub were tired but very clean. However, first impressions were not great: the front and the parking area outside the rooms looked untidy, and the mattress was very uncomfortable, with springs you could feel, so it needs replacing.

The rooms were a nice size, the breakfast delightful, and the owners were friendly.

The location was beautiful and central for visiting the surrounding area; the owners and staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food was excellent, and the traditional village inn offered very good value for money. However, the room was very warm and could use a fan, and the bathroom’s air flow system was loud through the night.

The hospitality was great for such an out‑of‑the‑way spot, and the dinner selections were excellent; the room was quiet and a good size, the breakfast superb, and the sunrise amazing. I only stayed one night.
