The lobby and bathroom were renovated. The attic room had a bathroom with a skylight above the bathtub, and in the morning I found feathers and bird droppings in the tub ;( birds were entering the bathroom. It was terribly noisy from the street, and right behind the hotel there were train tracks and trains. On the first floor there is a restaurant terrace and tables under the windows where you can smoke… until the restaurant closes, smoke keeps filling the room. The elevator doesn’t work, so you have to lug luggage up the stairs. The back entrance is a dramatic steel heavy door, rusty garages around, and if someone sees the courtyard they’ll want to run away ;). For the price it’s worth having at least a kettle. The table and chairs seem to still remember the Second World War era.
