The terrace overlooking the Ganges was magnificent, and the room was comfortable. The staff were discreet, efficient, and friendly.
Great location, just a stone's throw from the Ganges and a ghat where you could watch the evening ceremony. The staff were kind and the property was clean. A little far from Dashashwamedh ghat, but the tuk‑tuks were always available.
“Exciting / Educational Stay”
After we swapped rooms, the new one overlooked the river and a small side view. It had a hot shower, good Wi‑Fi, and was very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was decent and eaten in the room, though the selection was limited. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and shared useful local knowledge. They also arranged onward travel, which went smoothly. The location is excellent, close to sights and river cruise departure points, with shops, an ATM, and restaurants nearby. We felt safe walking around, and the locals were extremely friendly and eager to share their culture and history. Overall, a rewarding experience. The initial room didn’t match the description; it was on the ground floor, small, had bars on the window, and faced a brick wall about 2 meters away when the curtains were opened. Thanks to the hotel, we were moved to a cleaner room, so check‑in was delayed, but we received a welcome drink during that time.
Right by the ghat, the view of the Ganges was amazing. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable, with a host of facilities and vegetarian options. Food arrived a bit late, but since we were four it was understandable.
“It was a worst stay overall.”
Nothing good to say. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was covered in spider webs, insects, and mosquitoes. The linen, washroom, fan, refrigerator, and everything else were dirty. See the attached photos.
