I found the place to be great value for money, with friendly staff and a clean environment.

We didn’t receive breakfast, but the bed was comfortable. We had booked a cottage, only to be told by the receptionist that it was unusable due to a plumbing issue; an alternative room (18) was offered instead. That room wasn’t clean and lacked any self‑catering equipment—no stove, crockery, or cutlery. After arguing with reception, who didn’t see it as a problem, they finally gave us basic crockery, cutlery, and a microwave oven. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE.

The room was infested with mosquitoes, the curtain rail was loose from the wall, Wi‑Fi didn’t work, the shower taps were embedded in the wall, the cornice was falling off, the air‑con was extremely old, noisy, and leaked onto my bed, tiles were broken, bedding was dirty, and all the towels were torn.

The location was great, and the river view from the veranda was beautiful. Nothing I didn’t like.
