Clean and comfortable rooms with everything you need, not too far from the city, reasonable prices, and parking. There is no lobby or reception area where you could sit and have complimentary water, coffee, etc.; it’s like a motor lodge, accessed directly from the parking lot, with little privacy or a nice view from the window.

The Mid City Inn offered great value and an unbeatable location; it’s super central, so getting to almost any spot in Los Angeles is quick and easy. Free parking was a huge plus for LA, and overall the stay felt like a great deal. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout, and I’d definitely stay here again.

We arrived around 5:30 pm. The front‑desk man handed me a key and asked me to inspect the room before paying, which I appreciated because it seemed someone had just checked out. He had no other rooms that matched our needs and offered to make it up to us, but the area felt a little sketchy, so we left.

Parking is straightforward with no special structure. The downside is that there are no food options within walking distance.
