The hotel sits on a main street right in front of the station, and the downtown area is just a stone’s throw away. There’s a convenience store right in front, so for a Kushiro hotel this is top‑tier access. Even late at night the lobby is well lit, so women can feel safe. The breakfast area is in the lobby and it’s cramped; you can’t avoid sharing a long table with others. If you like to eat breakfast leisurely, this will be disappointing. There is a breakfast box you can take to your room, but it’s not great.

Front desk staff are quick and efficient, which I liked, and the parking attendant was also friendly. However, the unit bath’s drain had a terrible odor, and the washlet’s water pressure was weak—two disappointments.

The hotel is centrally located and convenient. The free breakfast buffet is served in front of the front desk, so when the elevator doors open you’re suddenly faced with a dining scene—surprising.
