Our family had a good experience staying at this place. This place is quite nearby to beach and breakfast was prepared by the family who runs this business which is quite good and authentic. This place will be a good choice if you don’t want large crowded places and need a quiet family time staycation at Varkala.
This family-run place had such friendly staff, the room was super comfy, and the breakfast was delicious.
“A comfy clean stay”
The room was well equipped, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows, and the pool was large and spotless. A short walk takes you to the coast, and the manager was very friendly, eager to ensure our stay was great, showing a fatherly care that made us feel well looked after. Unfortunately, the plastic pollution on the roadside cliffsides is disheartening, and we often saw depressing amounts of rubbish dumped in beautiful spots and waterways around Kerala, which would otherwise be a paradise.
I really enjoyed the food quality and the warm family welcome, but I wished the room had windows, an outdoor chair, and a spot closer to the ocean.
“Great for families, run by lovely people”
I stayed here with my kids for 4 weeks and had an amazing time. The cottages are lovely and worked perfectly for the kids. The Pool was great for the kids as well. The family that is running the place is super warm and very helpful and really made us feel at home. The breakfast is extensive and very nice with loads of south indian options. Would definitely come back when near Varkala
