The room had everything I could ask for, but I’d have liked a heads‑up about the car show; waking up to people shouting and roaring engines was unpleasant, and the singer with electric guitar was so off‑key that I couldn’t even enjoy the TV because of the noise.

The place was spotless and within walking distance of a coffee shop and restaurant, yet the upstairs bedroom was uncomfortably warm and I wasn’t happy that the bathroom was on a separate floor.

The hotel was adorable, right across from a grill with tasty food, and the town had charming gift shops; however, each room had its own theme and the room was only a short walk to Devils Lake.
