Clean and the WiFi is good. When I checked in, the man at the front desk told me if I pay with credit card, he would charge me $5 more, I said how much I pay in cash, he told me more than my booking amount. I found my booking and showed to him, and I just paid the booking amount in cash. He was not happy

Location was quiet and great, rooms were old and nothing fancy, but very clean. They still do housekeeping, which I loved, and a lot of places don’t anymore. The owner was a very nice man. Will stay here again. Can’t think of anything

The staff were very friendly, and the room was tidied each day. They turned off the AC, so returning after a long hot day was a bit rough, and the beds were very firm—fine if you prefer a firm bed.

The place was awful—no breakfast at all. The parking was just a gravel lot with A/C units dangling from the walls and orange water draining into bins. There was no elevator, and the hallway stayed hot. Everything felt dirty, and when I opened the door the room smelled like excrement. I sprayed air freshener and opened the balcony, but a dead roach lay on the floor and my husband's socks stuck to the carpet. We tried to make it work, but after two hours we left.

The upstairs room didn't include breakfast, but I liked how close it was to Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center (7033 Glenn Hwy, Cambridge) for a quick rest before a four‑hour drive home. The hotel is aging; I had trouble getting the key to work and the clerk mentioned the bathroom light was unreliable.
