How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location was delightful, with a window overlooking the beautiful fjord. We never met Ellie in person, but we stayed in touch via messages. The place was truly enchanting, clean and well‑organized, and it’s practically next to a famous bar/concept store that’s a must‑visit (handy for breakfast, which isn’t offered at House of Ellie). We hope to come back!!!

The location, the furnishings and especially the bed were superb and cozy. We had plenty of rain and storm during our stay, but we were already looking forward to unwinding and ending our Norway tour. Everything was perfect for us.

The fjord view is truly fantastic! Runners were also in town. We expected a different vibe: from 9‑17 am the terrace is very busy because the café next door is open. So just chilling for a day isn’t possible. Dishware is provided in the room, but you have to wash it in the small sink in the bathroom. There’s also no dishcloth or towel. It’s better to eat out, it’s cleaner. The most bizarre thing was that the landlord’s stuff was still in a wardrobe. I think that shouldn’t be in a rented room.
