The breakfast was quiet and actually pretty good, and the owner was really friendly and helpful. The only downside was getting to the place – it sits on the edge of town, a little farther than a comfortable walk. If you don’t mind the short trek, it’s a pleasant spot.

The place is decked out with lots of artwork, spotless, and has everything you could need. The host is super sweet, making the stay feel personal. I didn’t run into any problems at all.

Rossy greeted us warmly, the breakfast was tasty, and the whole vibe was relaxing. Nothing really stood out as a negative – everything just felt right.

We were bumped up from the standard blue room to the Art House Apartment before we even arrived, and I’m still reluctant to lower that perfect score. The unit is fully equipped and drenched in red and black – a dream for any Essendon supporter. I wish the décor had a nod to the West Coast Eagles, and we struggled a bit with the top cooker, but that’s on us.

Traveling with my adult son made finding two rooms near Huonville a challenge, but this place had exactly what we needed – two double beds. It solved our accommodation problem without any hassle.
