The setting is very pretty, and the pool is gorgeous, but it wasn’t very clean even though I was the only guest in the hotel. In the evenings, flying ants invaded the room, and it would have been nice if there were water fountains available for everyone.

It was a quiet, relaxing place to stay for a few days, but none of the rooms had a bidet, which is unusual for Bali. The pool also needed a deeper clean, especially the bottom.

The service was excellent, the pool was well maintained, the staff were super helpful, the kitchen was delicious for lunch and dinner, and everything felt heavenly. However, the breakfast formula needs tweaking: when you book with breakfast included, you expect a full breakfast, but instead you get a basic one with extra items that can be added for absurd prices, which feels bad. It’s a shame that all the accumulated credits would be lost because of this. Revenue can be generated, but don’t do this with breakfast.

The design is beautiful and it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. The property offers a restaurant with great rice‑field views for both breakfast and dinner. The AC was underpowered, barely keeping the room at about 25/26 degrees.

This hotel feels like a peaceful haven, which we love because we enjoy quiet; the outdoor bathroom is gorgeous and the room is roomy. The staff are quick, smiling, and very pleasant, and there’s a cute artisan shop that donates part of its earnings to an orphanage. The fresh breakfast is good but a bit skimpy, and you have to pay extra for a larger spread (we’re not cheap 😂). Laundry costs are noticeably higher than other Bali hotels, and the safe had to be replaced while the second one didn’t work either, which is just an occasional hiccup, not a serious flaw.
