The accommodation was characterful and comfortable, set in a peaceful rural location ten minutes from the busy and attractive Southwold and Walberswick. The breakfasts were very good, and overall it offers good value. The staffing arrangements mean that the ‘arrival window’ is strictly applied, which could be a problem if you’re delayed on travel.

The breakfast was very good, and we loved the quirkiness of the building; the bed was very comfortable. I would have preferred a walk‑in shower, and the beds should have been made up daily. Fruit and yoghurt at breakfast would have been nice.

Wonderful room in a wonderful setting. The entrance to the estate where the stables are located is unmarked and can be a problem when being followed closely by other vehicles,especially at night when looking for the turning

The breakfast menu gave us lots of choice, it was perfectly cooked and well presented. The Stables has a very relaxed and welcoming feeling to it It was our 3rd stay and every time it has been just perfect
