The photos on the website look good, but the reality was awful. There was no clear communication from the host. The menu was basically nonexistent—only one breakfast option. The electricity was unreliable; we stayed for about 16 hours and had power for only 9 of those. The room and bathroom were unhygienic, with ants, lizards, spiders, and other critters on the walls. Hot water never came on, even after an hour’s wait. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. If a refund was possible, I’d be the first to ask for it because it was a total waste of money.

The room was quiet and peaceful, the atmosphere was clean, and the owner was very polite and helpful. They were genuinely humble. My wife and I stayed for two nights and three days, and it was fantastic.

“A very nice place if you want to enjoy the ocean and the beach in silence and beautiful nature! :)”

This place is great for unwinding by the ocean. The staff are friendly and will serve you meals if you want them. We had a lovely time walking along the beach and enjoying the ocean’s silence. It is a bit far from Kannur train station, and tuk‑tuk drivers ask for extra money—up to 350 rupees one way.
