The room was spotless, the staff were welcoming and helpful, breakfast featured tasty hot options, and we savored freshly baked cookies.
Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were beautiful and impeccably clean.

The view was great and the place was quiet, but the old hallway carpet was a downside.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the king suite was spacious while the double queen felt cramped, both bathrooms were very small, the hotel has an old feel that’s trying to modernize but falls short, the shampoo bottle in our shower stayed empty even after housekeeping, the lighting was awful (though that’s common in many hotels), and the beds were firmer than we preferred, which is a matter of taste.

I liked how the hotel was tucked away in the woods with no traffic noise and we even spotted deer outside our window; however, the bathrooms lacked handrails to exit the shower, which is tough for older guests.
