“Buena estancia, pero mala organización”

The lodging was cozy, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the quiet of the area, and a solid pick for a weekend to explore Monfragüe, but the host’s organization and attention left a lot to be desired. A few days before arrival I confirmed dates and check‑in with her, and she told me to call half an hour before I got there, which I did. Yet when I arrived the apartment still had guests inside, so we had to wait while they were prepping and cleaning. I get that hiccups happen, but the reservation was booked, paid, and my arrival was pre‑communicated. The organization and communication with guests could use a big improvement.

“Buena opción para visitar la zona.”

It’s a typical village house, just enough for a day trip to Monfragüe National Park and a rest at home, with heating, air‑conditioning, a kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, one bathroom and a toilet. The place has everything you might need, but remember the space is tight and there’s a staircase to reach the rooms.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but the sheets were full of hair, which I found disgusting, so I had to switch to fresh ones I luckily had in the closet. I messaged the lady about it, and she didn’t even apologize. The phone number listed is wrong; she told me she hadn’t worked there in months. The space was very limited.
