“Hotel simple et bon rapport qualité/ prix a Jongno 3”
The hotel is very well positioned in the less touristy part of Jongno. The subway stop is very close, and the palaces, the city center, and the riverside park are all within walking distance. In the evening, the neighborhood turns into a hive as locals flood the streets to drink and eat. The hotel itself is very quiet, and the two opposite exits are handy once you know the area. Good value for money. On the downside, as already mentioned, the hotel is hard to find because it isn’t accessible by car. Google Maps is useless for walking routes, so install a Korean location app (e.g. Naver, in English) and that solves the issue. Our window faced a very close wall. The TV was disproportionately large for the room size. The front‑desk staff offered only the minimum service. Note that the neighborhood is very “local,” which might be too much for some travelers who would prefer other parts of the city.
