The place was very quiet and rural, with a well-equipped kitchen and lovely decor, but there was a mix‑up with the booking and the room wasn’t ready; the host fixed it quickly and offered a discount. We had booked a double room in the house, yet we ended up in a wagon next to the house.

We had a fantastic stay; our two boys loved the pool table and piano, the bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the kitchen facilities were great. A short walk brought us into Moffat. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we even made a new friend among the other guests.
