Our stay was very good; the facilities, cleanliness, comfort, and staff attention were all excellent.

We spent 1 day; the room was not modern or very comfortable, had no window or a horrible view, and the mattress and bedsheets were not very clean, but overall it was okay for just 1 day in Varanasi and the price was good; the rooftop was nice and the restaurant only accepted cash. The mattress and bedsheets were not very clean.

The room and food were good, but hot water was not available in the bathroom.

The location was very good for being close to the ghats, and taxis could reach the front door, yet the bed sheets were filthy, the pillow smelled of grease/food, the shower was cold, the room was unclean, felt claustrophobic with a window that looked almost directly onto a wall/service shaft with no natural light, and a building site next door meant we heard hammering from 7am; breakfast choices were poor, it was not a cheap hotel by Indian standards and very disappointing; if you’re travelling from the UK be aware that Indian hotels are not of the same standard as UK hotels, not even close; they look good in the pictures but often have cleanliness issues like this hotel; I would recommend paying more to get standards similar to those of the UK.
